Mountains and River is a free local directory for small businesses across the Blue Mountains, Penrith and the Hawkesbury. We check every listing by hand and write it up properly, so locals can find you and get to know the people behind the business.
Listing your business is free. There are no contracts or lead fees, and you can ask us to update or remove your listing at any time.
Your profile shows your services, the areas you cover, opening hours and photos of your work, with links to your website and your Google reviews.
People can call you, visit your website or send an enquiry from your profile. Enquiries go straight to your inbox, and we never sell or share them.
If you would like one, we record a short chat with you over Zoom or in person and add it to your profile, so people can hear from you before they get in touch. We take care of the editing, and it costs nothing.
We check every ABN and any licence or registration before a listing goes live, and your profile shows the date your details were last checked.
Step 1
Fill in the form below with the basics about your business. It only takes a few minutes.
Step 2
We confirm your ABN and any licence, write your profile, and ask for your logo and a few photos of your work.
Step 3
We email you the details to look over. Once you confirm they are right, your listing goes live.
Web designers, marketers, VAs and bookkeepers can add businesses on behalf of their clients. Choose that option at the top of the form and we will link the listing to you, so updates come to your email while enquiries still go straight to the business.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. We use these details to check and set up your listing, and we never sell them.
Yes. Listing your business on Mountains and River is free, with no contracts or lead fees. If we add optional extras later, they will be clearly labelled, and you will never be charged for something you did not ask for.
Small and local businesses that are based in, or service, the Blue Mountains, Penrith and the Hawkesbury. That includes trades, health and allied health, professional services, home and property services, and automotive businesses.
We check every ABN on the Australian Business Register so people know they are dealing with a real, registered business. Your ABN is not shown on your profile.
No, the video is completely optional, and listings without one still include everything else. If you would like one, it is a relaxed chat about your business over Zoom or in person, and we take care of the editing.
Just get in touch and let us know what needs to change. We can update your details, photos, services or opening hours at any time, or remove the listing if you ask us to.
Mountains and River is created and run by Jordan and Simone from JS Website Design, a web design and SEO business in Penrith. You do not need to be a JS Website Design client to be listed, and being a client does not change where a business appears in the directory.
